The company crossed the 4,000 employees mark in the city, recently.

The technology-driven healthcare outsourcing services provider, Omega Healthcare Management Services, has decided to hire 1,000 people in the next six months in Bengaluru. Its operations in Bengaluru recently set a benchmark by reaching the 4,000-employees mark. With its Trichy operation following suit,  Omega Healthcare has become the largest white-collar employer in Trichy.

Talking of the hiring plan, Gopi Natarajan, co-founder and CEO, Omega Healthcare, says, “Today we have over 4,000 employees working in the Bengaluru facility alone, and have been growing at a CAGR of about 30 per cent. This gives us more opportunities to rapidly scale the hiring of talented young professionals.”

In line with this, SV Krishnan, chief operating officer, Omega Healthcare, says, “This is a great moment for us to cherish, and we look forward to adding many such feathers to our cap. Truly our people are the reason behind our success!”

Julius Raj Stephen, joint head of operations and location head – Bengaluru, Omega Healthcare, shares that the company has been able to provide alternate career options to life sciences graduates by training and providing them the required skills. “Through the Omega Medical Coding Academy (OMCA) we aspire to train more people in medical coding and give them a platform to grow in this field,” he says.

The company currently serves over 100 clients in the US. With the recent acquisition of WhiteSpace Healthcare, the company has further expanded its offerings to include cloud-based data analytic solutions.
