    Average salary of Rs 20.46 lakh p.a. at IIIT-Delhi placements 2024

    With 677 offers being made, comprising 548 full-time positions and 129 internships, the overall placement percentage at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was 85.98 per cent. The average salary offered was Rs 20.46 lakh per annum, while the median salary was Rs 18 lakh per annum, with the highest international offer being Rs 95.15 lakh per annum. The highest domestic offer was Rs 49 lakh per annum.

    Seventy-eight offers were made with cost to company (CTC) exceeding Rs 30 lakh per annum. Nine students bagged international offers.

    The 2024 placement season saw participation from 113 companies. While the BTech placement percentage was 84 per cent, the MTech placement percentage was reported as 89 per cent.

    Ranjan Bose, director, IIIT-Delhi conveyed these “outstanding placement results” to the press, which according to him are proof of, “the industry’s trust in our institution” and the competency of the students.

    In the 2022 placement season, the Institute had fared better in terms of participation. About 140 companies had participated that year. However, 108 companies offered salaries ranging between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 47 lakh per annum, while 32 companies offered salaries in the range of Rs 5 to Rs 10 lakh.

    The overall on-campus placement rate in 2022 was also higher, at 98.10 per cent with the average compensation being Rs 19.72 lakh and median compensation being Rs 16.50 lakh.
