Sreekanth K. Arimanithaya has joined Global Delivery Systems (GDS) executive committee of Ernst & Young (EY), as well as its Global Talent Committee, chaired by Trent Henry, global vice chair for talent, EY.

Prior to this, Arimanithaya was working with DXC Technology, the IT services and solutions company, where he was the joint managing director and the senior vice president, workforce management, reporting to the global chairman and CEO.

Arimanithaya was also on DXC Technology’s global executive leadership team. Before DXC, he worked as the head of talent and CIO for Britannia Industries. He has also held various talent leadership positions in Computer Associates, GE and Toyota.

He brings with him over 25 years of experience in both human resources and broader business transformation, extending from human resources management, people supply chain management and organisational development to technology leadership and quality management.

He has played a critical role in delivering business advantage through business-specific change management and transformation in various domains, including manufacturing, FMCG, software and ITES & BPO in a global business environment.

Arimanithaya is also well versed in merger and acquisition talent integration, leadership development, HR shared services, HR analytics and change management. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and Agile Coach. Having worked in the US for seven years, he will bring a global and diverse perspective to the role.

As global talent leader for GDS, Arimanithaya will drive a complete re-imagination of the talent function and how it partners with the business, working closely with the GDS leadership team and the global talent organisation.

He has completed a BA in industrial psychology from Kerala University and did MSW from Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvanthapuram specialising in personnel management and industrial relations.

Sreekanth Arimanithaya is definitely the best motivational speaker who shares inspirational quotes on social media every day. However, a close friend of mine, who is a former employee at EY, has shared his experience with me. He is facing unemployment and other problems and has reached out to Sreekanth for help multiple times, but his messages have been completely ignored without a single reply. While Sreekanth finds time to post excellent empathetic and inspirational quotes, as well as deliver motivational speeches, it seems that he lacks genuine intentions to help others. Nowadays, I observe a multitude of fake influencers, particularly on Social media and digital platforms. Regardless of their position, salary, or status, if they lack humanity, empathy, or even the basic courtesy to respond, they are not true leaders; they are simply bosses.
