There has been a change in the HR leadership at Capgemini, with Pallavi Tyagi taking over as the CHRO for India operations. Anil Jalali, whose shoes Tyagi is stepping into, has been promoted to a global role.

Jalali will now be the group HR transformation advisor and will report to Hubert Giraud, group CHRO, Capgemini.

In his new role, Jalali will focus on shaping Capgemini’s transformation journey by leveraging offshore capabilities to bring increased efficiencies, while also supporting the smooth transition of the new India CHRO.

Tyagi, meanwhile, has moved to Capgemini from DuPont, a chemical company with diverse businesses. At DuPont she was the talent management and organisation vibrancy leader. Her role was to lead the hiring, employee engagement and D&I agenda for the Asia Pacific region.

Having joined DuPont in 2005 as HR director, she led the South India HR team and served the Company for 14 years in various capacities.

With over 20 years of experience in HR, Tyagi has worked with reputed companies, such as P&G and Apollo Tyres.

In her new role she will be heading the HR function for Capgemini in India.

“I am looking forward to playing my part in contributing to the competitive excellence of the Capgemini Group. In this strategic role, I will be focused on building a culture of a highly engaged and high-performing workforce,” shares Tyagi.

Tyagi’s experience spans the entire gamut of the HR function, including strategy, leadership pipeline development, manufacturing operations, compensation and benefits, as well as talent acquisition and management with a strong focus on high emotional quotient, interpersonal capability and strategic stakeholder management. She has worked in multiple geographies, including the the United States, Russia, Poland, the Middle East, China, South East Asia and India.
