    Promotion and added responsibilities for SAP’s Bhuvaneswar Naik

    Naik is now vice president-HR, Office of the CEO, and HR leader-SAP Leonardo  

    SAP has just promoted its head of global talent management and a member of the global HR leadership team, Bhuvaneswar Naik, to the position of vice president-HR at the Office of the CEO. Naik will also lead HR for SAP Leonardo, which is the European multinational company’s new digital innovation system. Joining in his new role this month, Naik has moved to Palo Alto, California in the Silicon Valley.

    In his previous position at SAP, Naik led a strategic global transformation programme disrupting performance management through eliminated performance ratings to build a culture of continuous dialogue. He was also involved in co-innovating and developing an app with SAP’s Successfactors for future deployment to the customers.

    Before moving into the global role at SAP in October 2015, Naik was based in Bangalore as its head- HR, India and was also a board member of SAP Labs India. He joined SAP in 2010, prior to which he was the vice president–people processes, Asia Pacific at Capgemini.

    Naik has earlier worked with brands, such as Yahoo, SE technologies and the Taj Group of hotels. He has had a stint with SAP in the past, from 1996 to 2005. Naik is an engineer and management graduate in HR from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Naik is a regular speaker on HR topics in business schools and seminars.
