At RPG Group, growth isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of a culture that thrives on nurturing internal talent. With the launch of Grow@RPG, an AI-powered platform, the organisation has taken a bold step towards empowering employees to realise their potential. This initiative encourages individuals to explore career opportunities within the company, ensuring that talent is cultivated from within, instead of seeking it externally.

Picture a workplace where employees are invited to move between departments, experiment with new roles, and even explore positions in different locations. This is the essence of Grow@RPG—a culture of internal mobility that allows people to not only grow vertically but also in multiple directions. By offering employees diverse opportunities, the platform fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment. As Supratik Bhattacharyya, Chief Talent Officer at RPG Group, explains, “Grow@RPG is about putting ‘RPG Talent First.’ We want to make sure every internal avenue is explored before looking outward. It’s about unlocking potential in enriching ways.”

At the heart of Grow@RPG is its AI-powered technology, which acts as a bridge between employees’ aspirations and the opportunities within the organisation. The platform scans employee profiles, analysing skills, certifications, and career goals to suggest projects or roles that match their development trajectory. Bhattacharyya gives an example: “Imagine someone who has just completed a certification in digital marketing. If a manager is looking for someone with those skills, the platform automatically matches the individual to the relevant role—without the manager having to sift through endless profiles.”

But Grow@RPG doesn’t just stop at matching people with opportunities. It also fosters a mentorship culture that strengthens relationships across the organisation. Senior leaders, including managing directors and CEOs, have volunteered as mentors, offering employees the chance to seek guidance from the top minds in the company. Bhattacharyya shares, “Employees can book time with these leaders, much like scheduling a doctor’s appointment. It’s invaluable guidance for navigating their career journeys.”

This mentorship system does more than build connections—it instils trust and boosts morale. “Mentorship not only facilitates knowledge sharing but also builds stronger inter-company relationships,” Bhattacharyya notes. Employees feel supported and empowered to grow within the company, knowing they have guidance from experienced leaders.

To measure the platform’s impact, RPG Group has established key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the percentage of roles filled internally and the completion of development action plans. These metrics offer valuable insights into the platform’s effectiveness, tracking talent retention, employee satisfaction, and organisational agility.

Beyond numbers, Grow@RPG has transformed the company’s culture. Encouraging employees to take on different roles across departments has fostered innovation and problem-solving. Employees now feel empowered to think creatively and propose new ideas, driving RPG Group to become more agile and adaptable.

As RPG Group continues to evolve, Grow@RPG is playing a pivotal role in shaping the future. By staying true to its core values—internal mobility, development, and employee empowerment—the platform is helping the company retain top talent while offering clear career paths. This, in turn, ensures that employees feel motivated and invested in the company’s success.

The platform’s focus on internal growth aligns employee development with the company’s strategic goals, making it easier for RPG Group to achieve its long-term objectives. Bhattacharyya adds, “Grow@RPG helps employees see where they can go, how they can grow, and what they need to do to get there. That kind of visibility builds loyalty.”

In a business landscape that’s rapidly changing, Grow@RPG gives RPG Group a competitive edge. By cultivating a highly skilled and adaptable workforce, the company can better respond to challenges and seize new opportunities.

Ultimately, Grow@RPG is more than just a platform—it’s a powerful tool for shaping a high-performance culture. By giving employees the resources and support they need to thrive, it helps RPG Group remain resilient, innovative, and prepared for the future.
