Brick & Bolt, the Indian tech-enabled construction company, has roped in Abhinandan Narayan to play chief business officer. He has moved from Revfin where he was serving in a similar capacity.

Narayan served Tata Consultancy Services as systems engineer for over two years in the initial years of his career. In December of 2011, he was associated with Microsoft as marketing consultant after winning a talent hunt. A year later, he joined Berger Paints as a summer trainee for two months before taking up the position of business consultant-rural expansion projects at Mahindra & Mahindra, in 2013.

He was associated with Berger Paints as area business head for over a year from April 2014 to May of 2015.
His association with CarDekho began in June of 2015, as general manager-sales and strategy, based out of Kolkata.

Ten months into this role, he was elevated to senior general manager, sales, strategy and business development. For over a year and a half, he devised GoTo market strategies to break into new markets and accounts. He also launched CarDekho in Eastern part of India starting from scratch. November of 2017 saw him promoted to director-sales, leading sales for the East and Central zones. From 2018 to 2021, he served as national head, Bikedekho.com.

Another promotion made him national head, regional office enterprise business, in October of 2019. By March of 2020, he had become the country head-India, CarDekho, BikeDekho, Zigwheels.

After an association that lasted five years and eight months with CarDekho, Abhinandan Narayan took up the role of vice president, category management and monetisation at Hindustan Times, in January 2021.
December of 2022 saw him taking up the role of CEP, international business and SAAS, ANS Commerce.

Unacademy appointed him chief business officer in July of 2024 and in January of 2025 he joined Revfin as CBO.
Now, at Brick & Bolt, he will be part of the core leadership team, collaborating with the founders and leadership team to define the organisation’s long-term growth roadmap, shaping strategic initiatives, and unlocking new opportunities for scale.

According to Jayesh Rajpurohit, co-founder and CEO, Brick & Bolt, “Abhinandan’s expertise in rapid scaling and leading large, multi-functional teams will be instrumental in helping us meet the expectations of our business growth and our consumer experience outcomes. With the expansion of the leadership team, we are confident of our ability to grow at a pace we aspire to, while staying true to our vision.”

HRKatha wishes Abhinandan Narayan all the best as he focuses on driving robust top-line growth while leading a disciplined growth to bottom-line profitability. He will also ensure that homeowners enjoy enhanced service assurance while continuing to enjoy on-time delivery and predictability, leading to a seamless, tech-driven construction experience.
