Richa Dagar has moved from Microsoft after 13 years of association to take up the role of senior director-people at Walmart Global Tech India (IDC).
An Economics graduate from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University, Richa Dagar is also an alumna of Symbiosis from where she completed a PGDBM (HR) in Human Services.
In the initial years of her career, Richa Dagar served as a senior consultant with Elixir Web Solutions for two years, before joining UnitedHealth Group as senior manager, recruitment (technology and shared services), in 2007.
Five years later, she began a long and successful association with Microsoft. She started off as a staffing consultant in October of 2012, based out of Bengaluru. Just over two years into this role, she was elevated to HR manager-global technical support centre. January of 2019 saw her promoted to senior human resources manager-Microsoft Research and Microsoft Consulting Services. By April of 2021, she had reached the position of HR director-India Development Centre.
Richa Dagar is known for her endless energy and perseverance. Those who have worked with her see this go getter as an assertive, mature, confident and diligent professional with excellent communication skills.
Her business acumen, data insights and coaching will surely be an asset to Walmart Global Tech India (IDC), the tech powerhouse that innovates for the world’s largest retailer – Walmart.
