Matrix Pharmacorp, the Indian pharmaceutical company, has picked Naresh Kumar G to head talent acquisition. He moves from CuraTeQ Biologics where he was AGM-talent acquisition.
Armed with an MBA in HR, Naresh Kumar started off his professional journey as a talent acquisition executive (HLS), with HarNeedi in February of 2010. Almost two years later, he switched to Nefer HR Consulting, as a lead consultant-healthcare and life sciences. For over a year and a half, he looked into talent acquisition, client relations and delivery (life science BPO / CRO). A promotion in 2013, made him account manager (healthcare and life sciences). After a stint that lasted almost two and a half years, he moved on from Nefer to AstraZenca for a short while, playing HR RPO-deputation from Randstad.
From September of 2014 to May of 2015, he was associated with Randstad as a senior specialist-talent acquisition.
Novartis appointed him talent acquisition specialist: CoE in May of 2015. This role saw him working out of Hyderabad for over three and a half years.
In 2018, he began a long association with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories that lasted over six years. He joined as assistant manager, talent acquisition, Biologics Business. Ten months into this role, he was elevated to talent acquisition manager-Biologics BU. Over two years later, he was promoted to senior manager-talent acquisition, Biologics BU. By December of 2023, he had reached the position of talent advisor-R&D, strategy and commercial functions (Biologics and IPDO).
It was in January of 2025 that Naresh Kumar moved to CuraTeQ Biologics, as AGM, talent acquisition,
Now, in his latest assignment at Matrix Pharmacorp, he will lead talent acquisition strategy across corporate, API, intermediates, and peptides research, manufacturing, and sales functions. He will help strengthen the recruitment process and the workforce on the whole.
