Shillpa S Chabria has been appointed vice president, people & organisation for Asia Pacific at Webasto Group, effective June 2025. In this role she will lead work on talent, leadership development, company culture and workforce growth plans across the APAC region for the global automotive technology company.
Before joining Webasto, Chabria was the director of HR for India, Middle East and Africa at The Lubrizol Corporation from July 2024 to June 2025. In that role she managed people strategies across multiple markets. Prior to Lubrizol, she worked at Thyssenkrupp from October 2020 to July 2024 as director of HR for India. At Thyssenkrupp she also handled OSHE, administration and CSR for India, helping build safer and more responsible workplaces.
From June 2019 to October 2020, Chabria was head of HR for the hydraulics and vehicle business at Eaton in India. Chabria spent over nine years at Cummins from May 2010 to June 2019 in different HR roles, including HR leader for the India automotive business, plant HR leader for power generation in Pune, and HR leader for the distribution business in India. Earlier, she worked as HR generalist and consultant at PwC from 2009-2010 and as HR operations specialist at Dell Technologies in Pune from April 2006 to October 2008.
Shillpa Chabria brings strong skills in talent management, leadership development, engagement, performance, ethics, workforce planning, hiring, pay, HR data, global mobility, learning and HR operations. Her focus is on linking people’s plans to business goals, building strong teams and leading change with trust and integrity.
She graduated from Bangalore University and completed executive education in HR Management at NUS Business School.
