Swiggy has introduced a new feature called Early Cashout that allows its food delivery partners to withdraw their earnings whenever they need, instead of waiting for weekly payouts. Available through the Swiggy Partner app, the service is designed to give workers greater financial flexibility across more than 720 cities.
With this option, partners can check their available balance in the app, enter the amount they want to withdraw, and receive the money within an hour. The process is simple and can be done in three steps under the “Easy Cashout” section of the earnings page. This means delivery staff can access funds quickly for daily needs, emergencies, or personal expenses.
Saurav Goyal, chief operating officer for Food Marketplace, Swiggy, explained that the feature was developed after feedback from delivery partners who said weekly payments did not always match real life financial demands. Early Cashout aims to bridge that gap by giving workers direct control over when they get paid.
The rollout will benefit Swiggy’s extensive network of over 6.5 lakh delivery partners, adding to the company’s broader set of initiatives designed to support its workforce. By offering instant payouts, Swiggy is positioning itself as more responsive to the financial realities of gig workers, who often face unpredictable expenses.
This move highlights how on demand platforms are adapting to improve partner satisfaction and retention. For delivery staff, it represents a significant step toward financial independence, ensuring they no longer have to wait for the end of the week to access the money they’ve already earned.
