At TELUS Digital India, the digital transformations firm, women are at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption. They are readily using new tools to eliminate repetitive tasks, analyse data at scale, and explore fresh opportunities for growth. Through initiatives designed to support women in technology, alongside company-wide access to enterprise-grade AI platforms, TELUS Digital India is creating pathways for women to lead, innovate and shape the future of work.
Women across the organisation are using tools to transform their daily workflows. Customer service representatives quickly access policy information during client calls, project managers generate comprehensive reports in minutes, and training specialists create personalised learning materials.
Iftikar Ahmed, vice president for operations, TELUS Digital India, believes that “AI has the power to unlock new possibilities and enable our team members, especially women, to thrive in a digital-first world. By equipping our teams with the right tools, training, and opportunities, we’re fostering innovation, accelerating careers, and shaping the future of work.”
The company also offers an AI-powered agent simulator, which lets its employees practise customer interactions in real-time, reducing training time by over 33 per cent, accelerating agent proficiency by up to 50 per cent with realistic voice and chat AI simulation, and improving customer satisfaction in complex, high-stakes situations.
The employees are empowered to build secure, role-specific AI assistants without requiring technical expertise. These personalised copilots help them to search, summarise and create content fast so that they are able to focus on other more important work.
