There is good news for talent from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India, as [24]7.ai is looking to expand its team in the country.

The global customer service software and services company is gearing to hire 9,000 people for voice and chat processes to be able to serve its international clients. It will also tap into talent available in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of India, offering them the option to work from anywhere.

The firm that offers intent-driven customer solutions and contact centre services, has rolled out an ‘earn while you learn’ initiative for its employees. This allows them to work even while they continue their education. It also has initiatives such as ‘campus to corporate’ that facilitate on-the-job learning along with coaching and training in soft skills to ensure smooth induction of freshers and talent from smaller towns.

The customer-engagement solutions company already has a diversity ratio of about 31 per cent. It has been working to create a gender diverse, safe and accepting work environment for its employees.

It plans to focus on hiring more women and members of the LGBTQi community so that it can uphold its commitment to diversity and inclusion. One-third of its India team comprises women.

Its new-age conversational AI platform coupled with its two decade-long experience in the contact centre space aims to help global brands deliver natural and seamless conversations across digital and voice channels.
