The job listing on social media indicates that Tesla is looking for manufacturing engineer technicians, manufacturing quality technicians, manufacturing process technicians, manufacturing equipment engineers, manufacturing controls development engineer, production manager, production supervisor, associate production manager, process supervisor, process-associate manager, process engineer, and quality engineer. The hiring-related posts appeared on the company’s hiring page, which was then posted on an X account. It was later retweeted by Elon Musk, CEO, Tesla, which drew a lot of attention to what was clearly a mass hiring activity.

Later on, a senior recruiter from the company also confirmed the fact that the company was actively working on the mass production of the Tesla Bot and was “seeking looking for engineers up for the challenge of getting this product ramped up for high volume production.”

The Tesla Bot was announced about four years ago. Ever since the unveiling it has been talked about as the most significant product offered by Tesla. It is capable of walking, carrying things and also conversing with humans. In fact, in October 2024, Musk reportedly stated that the Bot is now capable of doing just anything, even babysit, take dogs out for a walk, serve drinks and mow the lawn. The price of the Tesla Bot, as per some media reports, would be in the range of $20,000 and $30,000.
