Zoom has appointed Arijit Dey as channel leader for India and SAARC. The move reflects Zoom’s focus on growing its partner network as more companies use AI to make work simpler and improve customer service.
Dey has over 24 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, and strategic partnerships across tech and telecom. At Zoom, he will shape the channel strategy for India and SAARC. His goals are stronger partner engagement, faster channel-led growth, and helping businesses use Zoom’s AI-powered tools to turn conversations into real results.
Jacob Pereira, head,APAC partners, Zoom, believes Dey ” knows how to build strong alliances that scale. As companies adopt AI for better work, his leadership will help partners create more value.”
Before Zoom, Dey was director of strategic partnerships at Genesys. There he drove growth in customer experience solutions by working with service providers, global system integrators, and CX partners. He has also led senior roles at telecom firms and tech startups, where he built partner ecosystems and scaled enterprise businesses.
Sameer Raje, GM & head, India & SAARC, Zoom, noted that the companies in India and SAARC now want AI that does more than save time. They want better experiences for customers and employees, faster decisions, and real business impact. Partners make this happen, and Arijit Dey’s appointment is their commitment to supporting them.
Excited about his new role, Dey is keen to work with partners across India and SAARC “to help organisations adopt modern, AI-driven collaboration and CX tools”.
He will also contribute to strengthening the Zoom Up Partner Programme with better tools, simpler processes, and wider access to its workplace and AI solutions to help partners grow and deliver outcomes.
