As on 26th November 2024, more than 30.42 crore unorganised workers are registered on the eShram portal. The portal is integrated / mapped with various portal schemes such as the National Career Service (NCS) portal. Unorganised workers can register on NCS using their Universal Account Number (UAN) and search for suitable job opportunities. An option/ link has also been provided to registrants on eShram portal to seamlessly register on NCS.

The portal is also integrated with Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM). This pension scheme is meant for unorganised workers aged between 18-40 years. It provides a monthly pension of Rs. 3000 to them when they turn 60. Unorganised workers can conveniently enrol under PMSYM wherein the Government of India contributes 50 per cent. The remaining is contributed by the worker.

Provision is provided in eShram to capture family details of migrant workers. Construction workers’ data is also shared with States/ Union Territories to facilitate their registration in respective Building and other Construction Workers (BoCW) boards.

Skill enhancement and apprenticeship opportunities are also provided to unorganised workers via integration of the portal with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship’s Skill India Digital portal.

The eShram is also integrated with the myScheme portal—a national platform that endeavours to serve as a one-stop search and discovery of the government schemes. It provides an innovative, technology-based solution to identify information pertaining to schemes on the basis of the eligibility of the user.

Till date, 12 schemes of different Central ministries / departments have already been integrated/ mapped with the eShram portal, including Pradhan Mantri Surakhsa Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Prime Minister Street Vendors AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM-SVANidhi), PM Awas Yojana- Urban (PMAY-U), PM Awas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G), and the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
