Demonstrating a profound commitment to employees’ holistic development, Chalet Hotels has announced an interesting initiative. The hotel group has announced the initiation of its 100-Day Wellness Challenge—a strategic endeavour aimed at fostering a culture of health and well-being among its workforce.

Throughout the 100-day period, employees will have access to comprehensive health check-ups, providing valuable insights into their overall well-being. These assessments will cover a spectrum of health metrics, including cholesterol levels, blood pressure, BMI, body composition analysis and more. Armed with this vital information, employees can make informed decisions and take proactive steps towards enhancing their health.

This challenge aims to instil positive lifestyle changes and cultivate fitness habits over the course of 100 days. Additionally, the hotel has designed this challenge to inspire its workforce to prioritise their overall health.

The first phase involves the participation of employees at the corporate office and on-site, followed by the engagement of hotel associates in the second lphase.

In an effort to drive active participation and acknowledge employees’ commitment to better health, the Group will offer enticing rewards for those achieving significant improvements in their health metrics. These rewards are designed to celebrate and motivate individuals who demonstrate dedication and effort towards their personal wellness goals.

Speaking on the initiative, Mugdha Mahambrey, assistant general manager – human resources, Chalet Hotels, stated, “The 100-Day Wellness Challenge embodies our dedication to fostering a healthy lifestyle and creating a work environment that prioritises well-being.” She also highlighted that through active participation, employees will experience heightened energy levels, increased productivity and overall happiness.

The challenge commenced on 22 December, 2023, and will conclude on 31 March, 2024. In addition to offering a range of wellness programmes, such as physical fitness coaching, dietary seminars and consultations, and staff support groups, Chalet aims to foster a sense of community among staff members and lay a strong foundation for overall wellness.
