Hiring news: Opportunities in GAIL, JP Morgan, and HDFC

Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), the government-owned natural gas company, has announced 48 engineering vacancies. The last date for application is today, March 16, 2022.

Candidates selected will earn salaries in the range of Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,80,000 per month along with other perks including accommodation, variable dearness allowance (VDA), gratuity and pension, and so on.

The upper age limit for the vacancies of executive trainee (instrumentation), executive trainee (mechanical) and executive trainee (electrical) is 26 years, as of March 16, 2022.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology in the relevant field with minimum score of 65 per cent is a must.

In Karnataka, HDFC Bank is all set to hire 1,500 professionals in over the next one year. The Bank is adding at least 130 branches in Karnataka, which will take its total number of branches in the State to over 450.

Having started its first branch in Karnataka in 1996, in Bengaluru, HDFC now has 330 branches in 122 cities/towns, across all 30 districts of Karnataka.

Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, JP Morgan, the financial services firm is gearing to hire 6,000 this year across functions, including tech and operations. Its present workforce strength is about 40,000 across Bengaluru, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The Company is looking to hire talent in the areas of cloud, data engineering, AI/ML, cyber security, cloud, and data science.

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has started accepting applications for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2022. Interested candidates must apply online at trb.tn.nic.in, the Teachers Recruitment Board’s official website, before 13 April. The examination dates will be announced later.
