Monalisa Beck has taken up the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO) at House Of Diagnostics (HOD). She moves from Dr Lal PathLabs (DLPL) where her association lasted over a decade, having begun way back in 2015.
Armed with a PGDPM in Personnel Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Monalisa Beck began her career as assistant manager-human resources, with
Tata Tele Business Service, in June of 2008. Over two and a half years into this role, she was elevated to deputy manager-HR, following which she relocated from Hyderabad, to take care of learning and development for West Bengal, North East and Assam, and UP East. After seven years of association with Tata Tele Business Services, Beck moved to Dr Lal PathLabs as senior manager-HR, in May of 2015. Working out of Kolkata she managed to successfully expand the eastern region from 300 to 800 resources in a span of 36 months. She also headed the first major merger and acquisition of three medicare units for the eastern region.
April of 2018 saw her being elevated to AGM-human resources. In this role, she directed, accelerated and achieved the launch of the second most advanced reference lab in India, working out of Kolkata. From April 2019 to June 2021, she played AGM-human resources, based out of Gurugram. The next two years and three months saw her redesigning an agile front line performance-management system pan India. By April of 2021 she had been promoted to deputy general manager-human resources. Over three years later, she saw herself in the position of general manager.
Now, in her latest assignment as CHRO, House of Diagnostics, she will be tasked with leading the integrated medical diagnostic service provider’s people strategy, with focus on leadership development, talent transformation and workforce engagement.
