    After 20+ years with Adidas, Andreas Hubert is now COO, Puma

    After a long and successful two-decade long stint with Adidas, Andreas Hubert has moved to Puma to take on the role of chief operating officer (COO).

    Hubert’s association with Adidas began way back in February 2005, when he joined as head of logistics business development, based out of Bavaria, Germany.

    In just over a year’s time, he was elevated to head of supply chain controlling. In 2007 he was promoted to SAP programme manager. October of 2008 saw him moving to Hong Kong SAR, as vice president strategy and programmes. Four years into this role, he was elevated to vice president sourcing accessories and gear. From 2015 to 2019, he served as senior vice president, sourcing footwear. By March of 2019 he had climbed to the position of senior vice president, global sourcing, and eventually rose to group CIO, Adidas, in February 2021.

    In the initial years of his career, Andreas Hubert worked with Nokia Siemens Networks as logistics project manager, based out of Madrid, Spain, in 1999. He also served as content mangaer for Ifyoutravel, working out of London for a short while. He was associated with The Boston Consulting Group, as consultant from April of 2002 to January of 2005. From September 2020 to June 2025 he was a member of the Board of Directors, Carbon. He is presently a member of the Board of Advisors, Peek & Cloppenburg KG Hamburg.

    Now, starting 1 September, he will be playing chief operating officer at Puma. (COO). This role will see Andreas Hubert taking charge of global sourcing operations, including sustainability and product development, information technology (IT) and Logistics. The company states on social media, “With his extensive background in IT, sourcing and supply-chain management, he brings the perfect combination of strategic insight and operational excellence.”
