    Avishek Roy takes HR leadership role at Perfetti Van Melle

    Former McCormick HR Director brings over two decades of cross-industry experience

    Perfetti Van Melle has appointed Avishek Roy as its new director of Human Resources, marking a significant leadership transition for the confectionery manufacturer. Roy brings over 22 years of experience in human resources management across diverse sectors.

    Prior to joining Perfetti Van Melle, Roy served as director – HR for India and South East Asia at McCormick & Company. His career trajectory includes key HR leadership positions at major corporations, including PepsiCo, where he was associate director HR, and GE, where he headed HR for measurement & control solutions & digital energy India. He also previously served as HR manager at Essar Steel.

    An MBA graduate from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Roy has developed expertise in talent management, organisational development, and transformation initiatives. His experience spans multiple industries, including food and beverage manufacturing, industrial machinery manufacturing, and mining.

    Roy’s role at Perfetti Van Melle will likely draw on his track record in building teams and supporting startup operations. As a Hogan certified coach and certified facilitator for multiple programmes, he brings additional leadership development capabilities to his new position.

    With a passion for fostering high-performing cultures, Roy brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision to his new role at Perfetti Van Melle, a global leader in confectionery.
