Google has hired Shraddhanjali Rao as its head-HR for India. In this role, she will lead the HR function for the Company in India.
Rao shares her excitement on the appointment on social media saying, “Inspired by the opportunity to touch a billion lives and ultimately make the world a better place through data and tech. Prior to this appointment, Rao was the vice president HR at SAP India. In this role, Rao was the head of HR for India and was providing HR leadership for R&D, sales and services organisations.
She is moving to Google after spending more than 14 years at SAP. Rao joined SAP in 2007 as an associate manager, where she was the HR business partner to the organisation for globalisation services, quality governance and production, solution management, go to market, competitive intelligence and presales, managing more than 1200 employees in India.
