    Hero Motocorp elevates Dharm Rakshit as head – employee relations

    Hero Motocorp has elevated Dharm Rakshit to the position of head – employee relations. Rakshit, who joined Hero in 2017 as the head – HR, carries over two decades of experience in HR mainly working in manufacturing setups. Prior to joining Hero, Rakshit was heading the employee relations function at L&T’s construction division.

    An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Social Sciences, Rakshit started his corporate journey in HR from Essel Mining and Indus, which is an entity of the Aditya Birla Group of Companies. After spending more than five years with the firm, Rakshit moved to Tata Steel as manager – HR. In 2004, Raskhit joined Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) and worked in multiple roles handling plants in the Bihar and Jharkhand regions. Within five years of his service with the Company, he rose to the level of manager – HR operation for the Bangladesh region. At HCCB, gained a lot of exposure working in different geographies within and outside India.

    In 2012, Rakshit joined Mondelez International as the AVP for compliance and employee relations and then moved to leading the HRBP for the supply chain function in the Company. After working with Mondelez for three and a half years, Rakshit moved to Godrej Industries as VP – corporate HR, where he was responsible for enhancing the supply chain business as an HRBP and also worked on the talent management strategy for the organisation.

    Rakshit has a wide range of experience leading IR and HR for big brands covering various sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Magadh University.
