Honasa Consumer has named Richa Gupta as senior vice president. The digital-first beauty and personal care company said she will head its ecommerce business and lead growth across marketplaces, quick commerce and emerging digital channels.
In the new role, Gupta will focus on scaling Honasa’s online strategy, improving consumer engagement and finding new growth avenues for the company’s portfolio of brands.
Richa Gupta brings over 20 years of experience in ecommerce, consumer businesses and category management. She has held senior positions at Amazon India, Nykaa and Ekart Logistics. In those roles, she worked on business expansion, category development, strategic partnerships and improving operations. Honasa said her background in beauty and consumer-focused digital innovation will help the company accelerate its next phase of ecommerce growth.
Varun Alagh, co-founder and CEO, Honasa Consumer, believes that ecommerce is central to how the company builds relationships with consumers. He added that Gupta’s mix of strategic thinking, operational strength and marketplace experience will help strengthen those connections and create new opportunities across brands.
