Veerendra Vainsla will be heading human resources for Jindal Power. He moves from MAT Holdings, where he was playing assistant general manager-HR since November 2023.

After reading law at Jaipur School of Law, Veerendra Vainsla went on to study human resources management/personnel/administration at XLRI Jamshedpur.

He was a human resources intern with Kajaria Ceramics and then with Caparo Engineering for a short while, before he took up the role of senior executive-human resource development (HRD), at LPS Group, Rohtak, in 2007.

In 2009 he moved to Tube Investments of India to look after human resources (HR) and employee relations (ER). For the next two years he handled payroll management, administration, compliance management, audits, and manpower planning among other things.

Vainsla’s next stop was Sabohema Automotive where he worked as DGM-HR. Based out of Gurugram, he spent close to 12 years with the automotive products and technology firm before switching to Varel Energy Solutions, in October of 2022.

He joined Varel as senior HR head handling among other things, organisational development and change management, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), HR operations, corporate strategy, HR budgeting, organisational leadership, operations management, HRIS, continues improvement, and employee relations. He also helped launch the employee assistance programme called HR Aapke Dwar.

November of 2023 saw Vainsla playing AGM HR (HR head) at MAT Holdings, based out of Sonipat, Haryana.

In his new role at Jindal Power, Veerendra Vainsla will lead strategic HR initiatives to strengthen engagement, efficiency, and growth. HRKatha wishes him all the best in this endeavour!
