Kamaljeet Kaur, chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Sterlite Group, has moved to Gensol Group as group chief people officer.
In her new role as Group CPO, she will lead the human resource function for all group companies, including BluSmart, Gensol Engineering, Param Renewables, Prescinto, and Matrix Gas.
Kaur worked with the Sterlite Group, one of the leading global developers of power transmission infrastructure, for more than six years. She joined the company as a leader – HR Business Partner in April 2017 and rose to the position of director and CHRO.
Before Sterlite Group, she served as AVP HR at Jubilant FoodWorks for three years. In the past, she has worked for companies such as Heidelberg Cement, HDFC Bank, Wrigley’s, and Hero Motocorp.
At Gensol, Kaur will work closely with the founders, Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi. Her mandate is to enhance and strengthen the talent processes and lead strategic HR initiatives across the organisation.

Kaur says, “My focus will be on nurturing a people-centric culture, implementing effective talent management strategies, and fostering innovation & excellence in HR practices.”
A certified life coach, Kaur is a graduate in Economics from the University of Delhi and holds a postgraduate diploma in HR from Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD (SCMHRD).
