After a long and successful tenure of over 14 years at IPE Global, Kavita Fadnis has moved to Egis in India, to take on the role of director-HR (South Asia).
An alumna of the University of Gujarat, Kavita Fadnis began her professional journey with Tata Motors where she joined as human resources officer in 1998. For over three and a half years, she looked after training and development, recruitment, performance management and knowledge management.
In January of 2003, she joined Ebony Retail Holdings, as deputy manager, handling sales training, business process improvement as well as reward and recognition.
Fadnis’ next stop was IL & FS IDC, where she spent over two years, from 2006 to 2008. There, her responsibilities included creation of policies and procedures; recruitment; compensation and benefits; and employee relations.
From 2008 onwards Kavita Fadnis was self-employed as an HR consultant for more than three years.
It was in August 2011 that she took up the role of associate vice president-HR, at IPE Global. A little less than four years later, she was elevated to vice president-human resources.
Now, at Egis in India—a civil engineering firm active in the consulting, construction engineering and mobility service sectors— she will be based at Gurgaon. In this new assignment, she will use her experience to “shape a strong, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture” at Egis in India.
HRKatha wishes her all the best in this endeavour!
