Koel Bakkshi has taken on the role of head of human resources at at BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology. She has moved from Vikrant University, Gwalior where she was deputy director-human resources and public relations.
Bakkshi began her professional journey with Indiabulls Group as a human resources business partner, in October of 2009.
Over two and a half years later, she joined IIPM in a similar capacity. The next three years and four months saw her analysing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programmes and policies. She also maintained in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, in partnership with the legal department.
In August 2015 Koel Bakkshi switched to SmartPrep Education as senior human resources business partner. Among other responsibilities, she conducted data analysis and proposed frameworks for controlling employee attrition. She also analysed employees exit feedbacks to identify companies strengths ánd weaknesses in order to know their area of improvement.
From 2018 to 2023, she worked as head of human resources at SB Business Services, based out of New Delhi.
Conducted detailed an analysis of employees exit feedbacks to identify companies strengths & weaknesses in order to know their area of improvement. In addition to overseeing HR systems and handling employee relations, she developed corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety.
August of 2023 saw her shifting to Jalandhar, Punjab where she served as assistant director of human resources at Lovely Professional University.
It was in August of 2025 that she came to be associated with Vikrant University as deputy director-HR and public relations.
An alumna of Delhi University, Koel Bakkshi went on to complete an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Adminsitration from Amity University.
