Mattel, the global play and family entertainment company, has appointed Bhavani Pandi as head of people and culture. She moves from TriNet where she was country people partner since 2020.

An alumna of Madurai Kamraj University and the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pandi began her career as a technical recruiter for Collins Consulting, in 2005, based out of Chicago in the US.

About a year and a half later, she moved to Infosys Technologies as a software engineer. Almost two years into this role, she switched to Ma Foi Randstad working out of Chennai as a consultant.

Over three and a half years later, she took up the role of senior manager-client engagement for Bank of America, working at Bank of America Continuum India Services from 2012 to 2014.

Cognizant Technology Solutions roped her in for the role of senior HR partner-TAG for well over two and a half years.
Bhavana Pandi’s next stop was Genesys where she served as country human resources leader from 2017 to 2018 before devoting herself to her own venture, Ggaith Services as human resources director, for almost two years.

Her association with TriNet began in February of 2020. In the six years that she spent there, she helped set up the HR function from the ground up for a SaaS-based HCM product organisation. She also championed organisational culture development, fostering collaboration, transparency, and high performance.

Now, in her latest assignment at Mattel, Bhavani Pandi looks forward to “building a culture where great talent can thrive, collaborate, and create impact together”.

HRKatha wishes her all the best in this endeavour!
