Noveltech Feed, a Goldman Sachs group company has appointed Rishav Dev as its new CHRO, to head the entire gamut of HR for its 2000-strong workforce.

Exclusively sharing this development with HRKatha, Dev says that in this role, “my main objective will be to make the business more profitable through people strategy”.

At Noveltech, Dev plans to build people capabilities to make the workforce more service oriented towards their end customers, that is, the farmers.

Being quite passionate about empowering the agriculture sector in India, Dev wishes to use the opportunity given by Noveltech Feed to work towards strengthening the sector.

Noveltech helps farmers increase their income by providing excellent feed, as well as technical and non-technical services, including the latest market information.

Prior to this role, Dev worked with Anmol Feed, which also operates in India’s animal feed industry. There, he served for over five years as the CHRO.

With close to two decades of professional experience, Dev has worked in multiple sectors such as brokerage, retail and real-estate.

Interestingly, he did not begin his career with the HR function. In fact, he kicked off his professional journey with Alex Capital, as a relationship manager in the brokerage industry, providing investment advisory solutions to clients. He then moved on to Indiabulls and has also worked with Sharekhan.

It was at India Infoline that Dev made a shift in his career, going on to become a trainer for functions dealing in brokerage, institutional lending, realty and wealth management.

After spending five years in the brokerage industry, Dev moved to More Retail for more than three years. There, he went on to become zonal head – HR leading HR for the northern region. Dev also worked with DLF for more than four years, leading the IR and HR function for the real-estate developer.

It was in 2015 that he joined Ambuja Neotia as head – HR, heading the Company’s realty, corporate, events and facility-management divisions.
