    Nucleus Software appoints Swati Patwardhan as chief human resources officer

    Patwardhan spent a large part of her career—around 13 years—at Godrej in various capacities

    Nucleus Software, a prominent provider of digital lending and transaction banking solutions listed on the BSE and NSE, has announced the appointment of Swati Patwardhan as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective May 20, 2024. With an impressive 19-year career in human resources, Patwardhan brings a deep reservoir of expertise to this pivotal role.

    Patwardhan joins Nucleus Software from Optum, a health services company, where she served as director of early careers and TA project management office. Her extensive career also includes significant tenures at SuZong Solutions and Godrej, where she spent approximately 13 years in various key roles. At Godrej, she held influential positions such as head of HR at Nature’s Basket and Godrej South Africa, showcasing her leadership and strategic capabilities in diverse HR functions.

    In her capacity as CHRO at Nucleus Software, Patwardhan will helm the global HR strategies for the company, with a primary focus on attracting, nurturing, and retaining top-tier talent. Her role will encompass driving employee engagement, fostering an inclusive and innovative workplace culture, and aligning HR practices with the company’s strategic goals.

    Patwardhan is an alumna of Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University (SNDT Women’s University), Mumbai, where she completed her postgraduate studies in Industrial Psychology. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mumbai University. Furthermore, her credentials include certifications in organisational development from TISS & ODA and brain-based executive coaching from NLI, highlighting her commitment to continuous professional growth.

    Vishnu R Dusad, co-founder and managing director, Nucleus Software, expressed his excitement about Swati’s appointment. “Patwardhan’s vast experience and strategic acumen in human resources will be crucial in advancing our people-centric initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.”

    Patwardhan’s career is marked by her expertise in organisation development, international HR, talent acquisition, and business partnering. She has held significant positions in notable corporations, where she successfully managed diverse HR functions such as people processes establishment, talent management, performance management, and talent acquisition across global locations.
