Pegasystems ropes in Naznine Tilak as VP – L&D and DEI&B

Tilak carries a mix of experience serving in the IT and banking sector

Pegasystems, the low-code platform provider to businesses has announced the appointment of Naznine Tilak as its vice president for learning and development (L&D), and diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging (DEI&B).

In this role, Tilak will lead L&D and DEI&B agenda of the Company. She will oversee the functional teams across DEI&B, L&D, and talent cultivation at Pega. With her creativity and expertise, she will help develop impactful strategies that can drive the diversity agenda at the firm.

Tilak moves from Waters Corporation, an analytical laboratory instrument and software company,where she was the global head of talent management for more than three years.

Backed by about two decades of experience in HR, Tilak started her career in India, having  completed her MBA in HR from Christ University, Bangalore. In the initial phase of her career, Tilak worked for companies such as Mphasis and Accenture.

At Mphasis, after serving for more than a year as an HR business partner (HRBP), she decided to join Accenture as a senior HRBP. She worked in India for more than four years and it was during her stint at State Street that she decided to move to the US.

Tilak, who holds a master’s degree in HR from the University of Texas in Arlington, spent more than five years at State Street, and served her last position as the VP for talent management. Later, she moved to Santander Bank as VP-talent management for close to three years.

Given her experience in the BFSI and IT services sector, and her previous stints, she is the ideal choice for Pega.
