After a seven-year long association with Infogain, Rajiv Naithani has taken on the role of senior vice president, HR & OD, Persistent Systems.

Naithani brings over two decades of experience to the table, having started his professional journey in 2002, as assistant manager, HCL Technologies. Three and a half years later, he moved to InterGlobe Technologies as assistant manager-HR before switching again to GlobalLogic.

At GlobalLogic Naithani joined as deputy manager-HR in 2007. He was elevated in about a year’s time, to the post of manager-people development. In 2009, he was promoted again to the position of senior manager-people development (HR). Just over a year into this role came another promotion that put him in the role of director-HR (India). By the time Naithani moved on from GlobalLogic, in 2015, he had become the associate vice president-HR (head of HR, L&D and OD).

Rajiv Naithani’s next stop was Dassault Systemes, as director HR (head of HR, India). For the next almost two and a half years, he and his team worked to provide the business strategic, people and operational support.

January of 2018 saw Naithani joining Infogain as vice president-HR, heading HR for Asia and the Middle East.

Just over a year and half into this role, he was promoted to SVP and chief people officer. By April 2021, he had become the chief people officer, Infogain, working out of Noida. During his tenure, he successfully led Infogain’s global HR team across the US, India, UK, Poland, Uruguay, Singapore and the Middle East.

From 2005 to 2022, Rajiv Naithani was also a board of trustee, for the Pauri Garhwal Trust, a registered NGO in Delhi engaged in the social and educational empowerment of underprivileged kids in the remote areas of Uttarakhand.

Naithani has completed an MSc in people and organisational development from Roffey Park Institute, and holds a master’s degree in people and organisation development from University of Sussex..

Known to be an approachable leader who exudes a lot of positive energy, Naithani’s expertise spans people strategies and capabilities, cultural integration, M&A management, high-performance cultures, leadership development, compensation and benefits, and HR maturity.

HRKatha wishes Naithani all the best in his latest assignment at Persistent Systems, the AI-led, platform-driven IT services and consulting company.

Naithani himself steps into this new role with a lot of excitement, and believes, “the future is bright, the momentum is strong, and the best is yet to come!”
