    Amber, the student accommodation platform has promoted Prachi Kamble to the position of director of human resources. Kamble, who joined Amber in February 2023 as the lead for people & culture, has already left an indelible mark on the company’s cultural development and employee engagement strategies.

    Kamble’s new role at Amber is expected to further elevate the company’s HR excellence, contributing to its ongoing success and expansion. Her promotion underscores Amber’s commitment to nurturing talent from within and highlights Kamble’s exceptional contributions over the past year.

    Before her tenure at Amber, Kamble was associated with United Breweries in Bengaluru for a short stint from July to October 2022, where she served as the lead for HR projects. During her brief tenure, she oversaw critical HR initiatives that significantly drove the company’s growth.

    Kamble’s career also includes nearly three years with the Mahindra Group. She joined the company as the Manager of Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition in 2019, where she spearheaded the prestigious Mahindra Group Management Cadre (GMC) Programme. In 2021, she was promoted to HR business partner for the group corporate office, further showcasing her capability in managing complex HR functions.

    Her professional journey also includes significant stints with other renowned organisations such as Aditya Birla Group and Sears Holdings India, where she honed her expertise in various HR domains.

    Amber, founded by a dedicated team of five, has grown into a robust organisation with over 600 members, consistently striving for excellence and ensuring a seamless, stress-free housing experience for students worldwide.

    An engineering graduate from Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering in Pune, Kamble also holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, underscoring her strong educational background that complements her extensive professional experience.
