Bernstein, the global equity research and brokerage firm, has elevated Prakriti R Singh to director, human resources.
An Economics graduate from Ramjas College, Prakriti Singh went on to complete an MBA in Human Resources Management Services from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. She spent the initial decade of her career with Morgan Stanley. She started off as an intern in 2014 and went on to become vice president human resources business partner.

After over a decade with Morgan Stanley, working out of Mumbai, Singh moved to Bernstein as vice president-human resources, in June of 2024. Less than two years into this role, she has been promoted to director-human resources.

She calls herself a senior HR business partner with strong business acumen in the financial services and technology sectors. She possesses expertise in HR consulting and people advisory, and is capable of building high-impact people functions.

Her ability to build strong partnerships with management and key stakeholders to influence people strategy will continue to hold her in good stead at Bernstein.

With the latest elevation, Prakriti Singh will be expected to lead the company’s HR initiatives, talent strategy and organisational development in line with the overall people practices and organisation goals.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bernstein’s trading platform spans the US, Europe, and Asia. The firm’s research and trading capabilities are sought out by leading investment managers around the world.

HRKatha congratulates Prakriti Singh on her promotion and wishes her all the best for her endeavours!
