After specialising in human resources and marketing from the MS Ramaiah Institute of Management, Arora worked as a consultant – IT talent acquisition, for Spectrum Placements. Based out of Delhi, she administered the performance management system for BHEL’s 12000-strong workforce. She also supervised the operation across all phases of the system, troubleshooting, giving system clarifications to unit HR and also coordinating with corporate IT for making design changes. During her eight-year long tenure at BHEL, she contributed significantly to the implementation of new HR initiatives, including High Potential Employees (HIPOs), succession planning, job rotation, exit interview system, knowledge management, competency management – technical and behavioural. She also helped conduct company-wide leadership surveys and surveys to gauge employee engagement, employee satisfaction and business alignment.

In 2013, Arora joined Sony as head – talent acquisition, OD and learning. For the next seven year, working out of Delhi, Arora successfully lead the HR team in managing talent acquisition, OD, employee engagement and L&D-related initiatives at the corporate level.

It was in 2020 that Arora moved to Jakson, Noida.

Known to be a driven and committed professional with great clarity of thought and purpose, those who have worked with her have been struck by her appetite to try something new,

She is sure to prove her mettle in her new role as CPO at the solar power company.
