After a long stint of over a decade with Wipro, Rashmi Prabha has joined Sonata Software as vice president-human resources. Working out of Bengaluru, she will lead the HRBP function for Sonata, globally, working towards the organisational goals with meaningful growth as an outcome.

Having completed a PGDPM in human resources from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Prabha began her professional journey as an associate consultant with PeopleOne Consulting, New Delhi. She then moved to Bengaluru, to join Hewlett Packard as HR manager, in 2003. She spent over seven years as HR generalist, supporting 1500+ employees of HP and managing end to end people function responsibilities.

In 2010, she moved to SAP Labs as associate manager-total rewards. Three years into this role, she again moved, joining Wipro as head function-human resources tech SBU (vertical head). She successfully handled end to end annual merit salary increase within six months of entering Wipro. In 2019, she was elevated to the position of head-HR, data, analytics and AI (DAAI). By 2021, she was promoted to head HR-GTM iCORE APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa). By 2022, she had become general manager and head, HR CIS.

Considered a highly dependable person by those who have worked with her, HRKatha is confident that Rashmi Prabha’s subject knowledge, exceptional work ethic and relentless focus on getting things done faster and better will prove to be an asset for Sonata Software.
