Uniparts India has appointed Manish Singh as group chief human resource officer (CHRO), effective August 2026, strengthening its senior leadership team as the company focuses on people strategy, organisational effectiveness and workforce transformation. In his new role at Uniparts India, Singh will lead the organisation’s HR agenda, with a focus on people strategy, workforce planning, talent development, organisational transformation and building a high-performance culture.

Singh brings more than 23 years of experience across HR business partnering, organisational design, talent management, culture transformation and HR digitalisation, with significant experience in the manufacturing sector.

Before joining Uniparts India, Singh spent 14 years and four months with Blue Star, where he held progressively senior HR roles. He was most recently general manager – human resources, a position he held from July 2024 to August 2026. In this role, he partnered with business leadership across unitary products, commercial air conditioning, R&D and supply chain, while leading HR digital transformation, workforce readiness and talent initiatives.

Prior to this, Singh served as business HR head at Blue Star from October 2020 to June 2024. He earlier worked as regional HR head & talent acquisition lead from April 2018 to September 2020, based in Kolkata, and as manager – human resources from May 2012 to March 2018, based in Gurugram.

Singh joined Blue Star after spending over four years with Usher Group, where he served as manager – HR & administration from April 2008 to May 2012.

He began his career in a technical function, working as assistant manager – instrumentation at Nuchem’s MDF Division from July 2003 to January 2005. His transition from instrumentation into HR has given him experience across both technical and people functions.

Across his career, Singh has worked on organisational restructuring, capability building, performance-driven cultures, leadership development, workforce productivity and digital HR. His professional profile highlights his experience in partnering with senior leadership to translate business strategy into people priorities and using HR analytics and digital solutions to support organisational performance.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Singh also holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
