Sarabjeet Singh, who has been associated with Helpshift India since 2021 — first as director, global business partner and then as global head – people and culture — has now been elevated to the role of global head of people, culture and Helpshift India site lead.
An alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Singh began his career with Infosys, as senior HRBP, in 2008. Two years later, he moved to Cross Country Healthcare, as senior human resource associate. Based out of Pune, this role saw him looking into source and recruitments, onboarding, employee engagement, employee training and development as well as HR operations. However, this was a short stint of less than a year after which Singh freelanced as an HR consultant for over a year.
In 2012, he joined Calsoft, as senior business partner – HR for slightly less than two years.
His next stop was GS Lab, where he joined as associate manager HR – talent management. For over five years, he successfully shouldered the responsibility for the overall design, implementation and monitoring of talent, learning and development, and organisational development processes for a 1200-strong workforce. He was also the strategic talent partner and HR business advisor to the leadership team, line managers and HR verticals across locations.
The year 2019 saw him donning the hat of senior manager – HR, at CloudMoyo. By 2021, he had become associate director – HR and talent acquisition at the firm.
Since his association with Helpshift began in 2021, Singh has helped develop and implement the company’s human resources strategy in line with the overall business strategy. Mergers & acquisitions (M&A), global HR leadership, organisational culture, organisational leadership and change management are his forte.
