Saurabh Chaudhuri has joined CMS Info Systems as senior vice president and head-HR. He was earlier with Godrej Consumer Products as global HR lead-CoE (rewards, talent, learning, campus and people processes).
An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Saurabh Chaudhuri was associated with Global India Foundation as research fellow for over a year before he joined Unitech as a management intern in 2008.
He also interned with Siemens, Nokia and Hindustan Uniever before finally joining Aditya Birla Group as programme director-Gyanodaya-Aditya Birla Global
Centre for Leadership Learning, in 2010. Two years into this role he was elevated to manager-HR business partner (overseas businesses).
By 2015, he was made HR CoE rewards-Grasim Industries within the Group. Two years later came another promotion that made him head of industrial relations, Grasim Industries. He spent a decade with the Group before switching to udaan.com, in 2020.
He joined udaan as lead HRBP-staples and FMCG business. Nine months into the role he was promoted to HR lead-regional HR-udaan associates (supply chain, market development, capital, corporate). By 2021 he had reached the position of director|HR lead-HR shared services and regional HR-Pan India. Another promotion soon after put him in the position of director|HR lead-performance, rewards, HR tech, and regional HR-Pan India. By 2023, after two more promotions he became HR head-udaan (essentials, discretionary and B2C business categories).
It was in May of 2024 that he joined Godrej Consumer Products as global HR lead-CoE.
Known to be an inspirational leader, Saurabh Chaudhuri’s ability to always care for the best interests of the employees will be an asset to CMS Info Systems, the business consulting and services firm.
