ShareChat, a home-grown video-sharing platform, has roped in Anurag Verma to lead its people and culture department. Verma will spearhead ShareChat’s people team, charting a course for the future with a focus on robust talent strategies that not only shape policies but drive pivotal execution priorities.
Verma brings over two decades of experience in human resources. At ShareChat, he will be leading the people functions, including talent acquisition, HR strategy & process, talent management and total rewards functions. He’ll work to make the company better and create a workplace where everyone can be creative and do well. His skill in making lively, welcoming, and successful workplaces matches with ShareChat’s dedication to building an energetic and varied culture.
Prior to joining ShareChat, Verma was associated with the Uniphore, a conversational AI company, as its vice president-people. He has also held many leadership roles in several companies, including Flipkart, India Telecom Infra (ITIL) and Airtel. His previous stints also include Maharishi Group, Sylvan Learning, Visisht Group, among others.
