After a decade-long association with ScaleneWorks People Solutions, Sharin Kariappa has taken up the role of head-recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) programmes, Xpheno. The specialist staffing firm has launched the new RPO vertical, expanding its service portfolio beyond staffing and talent consulting.
Kariappa, who holds an MBA in HR from University of Madras, spent a decade with CBSI Global. She joined the firm as manager-head HR in June of 2004. For over eight and a half years she successfully ensured best in class and sustainable talent acquisition and development, and helped drive revenue growth, optimise costs, even while partnering with business to design and implement organisation structures. She also handled workforce planning, succession planning, compensation and benefits and performance management.
In December of 2012 she was elevated to programme manager. For the next two years she built, mentored and led a team of senior recruiters/leads for recruitment, assisting them in the hiring of niche/senior level positions.
After a successful tenure, that lasted 10 years, at CBSI Global, Sharin Kariappa moved to ScaleneWorks People Solutions. She had been handling end-to-end recruitment for this organisation with a 5500 + strong workforce, across three primary business units —consulting, recruitment and technology—since January of 2015.
Now, in her new role at Xpheno, Sharin Kariappa’s focus will be on building, designing and scaling high-performance RPO programmes. She will also help build agile delivery frameworks that adapt to client priorities, and drive process excellence with technology and data-driven insights.
