    Siemens Energy ropes in Sarah Tabet as new head HR

    Siemens Energy has appointed Sarah Tabet as the new head of Human Resources for the Middle East. Tabet announced her new role on social Media (LinkedIn), stating that she is excited to embark on a new career journey by leading Siemens Energy as its head HR for the Middle East Zone. Tabet’s work will be based in Dubai.

    Tabet has over ten years of experience in the Middle East and around the world. Before joining Siemens Energy, she has worked with companies like Schneider Electric and British American Tobacco.

    In her last stint, she was associated with Schneider Electric, as the global HR director. At Schnieder, Tabet offered global strategic HR leadership support and collaborated with senior leaders across the organisation in several regions, with a larger focus on Europe, the United States, India, and China. She was there with the company for over seven years before moving to Siemens.

    Her longest stint was British American Tobacco where she was HR reward analyst, Middle East and North Africa. She was associated with the company for over nine years. At British American Tobacco, Tabet managed compensation analysis and led the Board compensation meetings for 17 markets across the Middle East & North Africa.

    Tabet is an advocate, author, and enthusiast for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) who has experience working with diverse teams and promoting a culture of inclusion. In addition to her role as Global HR Director at Schneider Electric, she also served as a D&I leader for the Middle East region.

    Tabet who is a graduate of Notre Dame University – Louaize, has obtained a bachelor’s degree in the field of Finance.

    Excited about her new position Tabet’s LinkedIn post reads, “After seven wonderful years with Schneider Electric’s HR family, I am excited to move on to a new challenge and embark on a new career journey by leading Siemens Energy’s HR for the ME Zone being based in Dubai. Looking forward to a new chapter with the learning and opportunities it will be bring.
