Kajaria Ceramics has announced the resignation of Ashish Goel from the position of chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective 27 July, 2026. Goel, who joined the company on 13 February, 2026, served for nearly five months before stepping down.

According to the company’s regulatory disclosure, he resigned due to personal and health reasons. The Board of Directors has accepted his resignation, bringing his tenure as a member of the senior management team to an end.

A seasoned HR professional with over 26 years of experience, Goel has led people functions across industries including media, telecommunications, automotive, education, manufacturing, and industrial businesses. His expertise spans HR strategy, organisational design, business partnering, talent management, HR transformation, employee relations, leadership development, performance management, employer branding, and capability building.

Before joining Kajaria Ceramics, Goel served as chief human resources officer at Essel Group | Zee Media, where he spent nearly eight years leading the HR function for a workforce of more than 3,000 employees across 250 locations. During his tenure, he aligned HR strategy with business priorities, drove organisational transformation and cost optimisation, automated HR processes, and revamped the company’s talent-management framework.

Earlier, he was CHRO at Technicon Group, where he played a key role in institutionalising a performance-driven culture, strengthening talent management practices, and redesigning compensation and talent- acquisition strategies.

Prior to that, Goel served as general manager – human resources at Vodafone, where he led leadership development, succession planning, culture-building, and capability development initiatives for a workforce of over 2,500 direct and 9,000 indirect employees.

He was also actively involved in the HR integration during the transition from Hutch to Vodafone.

His earlier career includes leadership positions at Hero MotoCorp (Hero Honda Group), Career Launcher (CL Educate), and Modipon Rohm & Haas, where he worked on organisational restructuring, HR systems, competency mapping, employee engagement, learning and development, and business process transformation.

Goel holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Kajaria Ceramics has not yet announced a successor for the CHRO position.
