Global insurance brokerage firm Lockton has named Shuchi Nihalani as head of human capital consulting for Singapore and Malaysia, effective July 2026. She will be responsible for expanding the firm’s people and organisation practice and delivering strategic HR solutions to clients in the region.
She moved to Lockton from Autodesk, where she worked between 2023 to 2026 as the senior people business partner, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on organisation transformation, succession planning, and global HR programme adoption. From November 2021 to November 2023 she served as senior people consultant, coaching managers and driving the rollout of people processes across the region.
Prior to Autodesk, she built her consulting credentials over a decade with WTW and Mercer. At Willis Towers Watson, she spent four years from September 2017 to October 2021, as the practice leader for talent management and organisational alignment. At Mercer, she worked from November 2010 to September 2017 as senior consultant, leading industry-wide studies on manpower planning, contributing to national skills pathways, and advising on rewards and workforce design.
Shuchi Nihalani’s early career includes a two-year stint at Avalon Consulting from June 2008 to July 2010, where she developed market entry and growth strategies. She also held project and coordination roles in the UK at Hewitt Associates, Fareham College, and Taunton’s College between April 2003 and March 2005, and completed a four-month internship at Castrol in Mumbai in 2007.
In her Lockton role, Nihalani will partner with regional leadership to scale high-impact people solutions focused on transformation, talent strategy, and organisational effectiveness across Singapore and Malaysia.
HRKatha wishes Shuchi Nihalani all the best as she takes on this new role!
