SILA, a real-estate platform, has recently roped in Sakshi Shahapure to assume the role of group head – human resources within the organisation. Here, she will help grow the team and work on employee development and well-being.

With over two years of expertise in human resources, Shahapure has worked across several sectors including retail, ecommerce and real estate. Prior to joining SILA, she was associated with Reliance Jio Mart and led its human resource business partner team. Through this role she was instrumental in building a significant portion of the business and ancillary teams.

She has also worked with companies such as Thermax, Unitech Omkar and Shop CJ India. Her longest stint was with Unitech Omkar, where she joined as the senior manager-human resources in March 2008. During her six-year long tenure there, she played a pivotal role in establishing HR policies, procedures and best practices. She was instrumental in fostering a robust culture characterised by a focus on results, innovation, teamwork and transparency. Under her leadership, the organisation has grown to over 500 on-roll employees and more than 100 off-roll employees.

Speaking on her appointment, Shahapure, expressed her enthusiasm and appreciated the company for its dedication to employee development and well-being. “SILA has aggressive growth plans for which growing the employee base and working closely to create the entrepreneurial culture set forth by brother-duo Sahil and Rushabh is something I am looking forward to doing,” she added.

In the past decade, SILA has successfully expanded its operations, overseeing more than 150 million square feet of assets and employing a dedicated workforce of over 20,000 individuals throughout India. The company offers a wide spectrum of services, such as facility management, project management/advisory, and general contracting, catering to a diverse clientele comprising major corporations, real estate funds, landowners, and developers.
