Simpl ? a company that offers commerce solutions, which foster trust between merchants and buyers through transparency in payments ? has hired Sneha Arora as its chief human resource officer, to lead the HR function.
Arora joins Simpl from Myntra where she was the VP-HR for more than two years.
An alumna of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Arora started her career as a management trainee with Texas Instruments, a manufacturing firm which designs and manufactures semiconductors and various integrated circuits.
During her four-year long tenure at Texas Instruments, she honed her skills in different facets of HR from university hiring to employer branding, talent development and business partnering. Her progress from being management trainee to talent-development manager gave her an opportunity to drive various learning and development (L&D) initiatives for high-potential leadership development and succession planning.
At Texas Instruments, she served her last position as the HR manager. In this role, she successfully collaborated with the R&D, sales and marketing teams driving HR business partnering initiatives for India and global stakeholders.
Moving on from Texas Instruments, Arora joined Flipkart as HR manager and led a team of HR professionals and collaborated with the CXOs and business leaders to drive the people strategy of the company. She worked with Flipkart for close to two years and then moved on to join SAP India as senior HR consultant. Within three years, Arora was elevated to director – HR at SAP India.
Carrying close to 10 years of experience in HR, Arora has been exposed to diverse sectors such as manufacturing, technology and e-commerce.
