SMC Squared, an IT offshore company specialising in building GCCs has appointed Tara Kanbargimath as its new director-human resources. Bringing with her over 18 years of experience, Kanbargimath will steer the people agenda for the firm.
In her new role, Kanbargimath will strengthen the HR department and contribute to the company’s growth.
Prior to joining SMC Squared, she was working with Carelon Global Solutions, as its HR manager. She joined the company in the year 2022, and was working with its HR operations team leading onboarding and associate experience for Carelon Pan India.
In her professional journey, she has also worked with Legato Health Technologies, ZeOmega, Unisys, ICICI OneSource and Thomson Reuters. Furthermore, her expertise lies in talent development, organisational culture cultivation, and enhancing efficiency across people, processes and tools.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Kanbargimath is a fitness enthusiast and an accomplished tennis player with over a decade of participation in the Indian national circuit. Her diverse interests include a passion for music, singing and exploring new destinations. Kanbargimath also finds joy in cooking when time allows.
Originally from Dharwad in North Karnataka, Kanbargimath takes pride in her roots.
