    Subir Sinha is director-HR, NetCom

    Subir Sinha has joined NetCom Learning as director, human resources. He will head the HR function for the organisation based out of India, with the main responsibility of ramping up operations in India and the US. His mandate will include incorporating contemporary human resource practices into the organisation.

    With a rich experience of nearly 30 years in the HR function, Sinha has worked with the Creative Group, Arvind, Reliance Retail, ITC – Agrotech, HSBC GR and Reliance Communications. His last full-time assignment was with RSPL as president and group HR head.

    In the last five years, Sinha freelanced as a consultant, leading his own outfit, Subir Sinha HR & Corporate Advisory. As an HR Consultant, Subir was involved with various SMES, MSMES, startups and NGOs. Some of the names he was associated with include, Wrig Nano Systems, Cyient, Housejoy, Karan Latex, Intileo Technologies, Coursemy and Church Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA).

    Talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, learning & development and HR project management are his forte.

    Having begun his career with Creative Outwear, he played an instrumental role in setting up the garment manufacturing unit. He also worked with Arvind Mills for 11 years honing his skills in all aspects of HR.

    Sinha was one of the first employees of Reliance Retail in Gujarat, where he managed to hire 400 management staff without the help of any recruitment agencies or advertisements. His role in opening the retail stores and setting up operations for Reliance Retail in Gujarat is significant and memorable.

    An alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Sinha has also worked with Reliance Communications as the assistant VP-HR for Bihar and Jharkhand.
