L&T Technology Services has rolled out a new artificial intelligence learning initiative for its employees, aimed at strengthening AI capabilities across both technical and non-technical roles. The programme, titled “Universal AI,” is part of the company’s broader effort to embed AI literacy into its workforce and prepare employees for rapidly evolving business demands.
Designed as a self-paced learning experience, the initiative focuses on building a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence across the organisation. It emphasises scientific thinking and first-principles reasoning, equipping employees to make more informed, data-driven decisions in their day-to-day roles.
The curriculum comprises a series of core modules that explain how AI systems function, the technologies that power them, and the ethical considerations surrounding their deployment. Importantly, the programme is accessible to employees across skill levels and does not require prior coding knowledge, making it inclusive for both technical and non-technical talent.
Through this initiative, L&T Technology Services aims to scale AI fluency across its workforce, enabling employees to actively contribute to AI-led innovation and deliver more advanced, technology-driven solutions to clients.
Employees who complete the programme will receive a certification validating their understanding of AI fundamentals and their readiness to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios. The rollout underscores the increasing importance of structured upskilling in the corporate sector, as organisations invest in building future-ready talent pools capable of navigating ongoing technological disruption.
